The further development of dairy cattle breeding in the Republic of Belarus assumes the intensification of the branch in such a way to obtain the milk yield of 4500-5000 kg from a cow per year. The rational organization of production processes in the branch will make it possible to reduce the number of milkmaids and other personnel of farms in 2-3 times, to lower labor costs for milk production in 3-4 times, expenses for forages - in 1,5 times, prime cost of milk - in 1,3 times. Also, it will make it possible to ensure high-quality and competitive production. Ways of increasing of milk production efficiency by means of to various factors are shown by an example of the Agricultural Cooperative "Vitehks" (Uzdenskij district, Minsk region, Belarus). Results of researches are based on the scientifically-applied approach and represent practical value.
