In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was realized an evaluation of RT-PCR method for the diagnostics of Belarusian isolates of Raspberry bushy dwarf virus (RBDV), cloning of a gene of protein of a membrane and determination of its nucleotide sequence. The results of RT-PCR (PCR with the reverse transcription) method utilization for the detection of Belarusian isolates of RBDV are presented in the paper. It is determined that a pair of primers to a coal protein gene of the virus can be used successfully for RBDV detection in Belarus. Phylogenetic analysis оf CP-gene nucleotide sequences of the virus showed that new isolates closely related to other raspberry isolates. There was no strong correlation between grouping of raspberry isolates and geographical location which could be explained by the supposition that variability of the virus depends mostly on the plant-host but not on geographical origin.
