Cotton Verticillium wilt disease is one of the most important factors of cotton yield reduction in Khorasan province. Crop rotation is considered an integrated control strategy against this disease. In order to evaluate the efficacy of crop rotation on cotton Verticillium wilt disease in this region, this study was carried out in 1381-1383 .In this study ten common crop rotation systems as treatments within RCBD with 4 replications in Neishabour research station were studied. Cotton, wheat, barley, corn, tomato, sugar beet, watermelon, eggplant, spinach, turnip and canola were used in crop rotations. Fungal population in soil, disease severity, and yield were evaluated. Results showed that non-host crops such as wheat, barley, corn and canola had significant effect on disease severity and yield and in comparison of watermelon and eggplant prevented increase in disease severity and yield reduction. In this study significant and negative correlation between disease severity and yield was observed.
