In this project, The evaluation of watershed management operationns in karaj dam basin (Azadbar) has been done. _ In fact, the present and the previous conditions of this basin (before and after the operations) were studied and the result The factors which were examined were sediment, pland cover changes and the different kinds of soil erosion.'l`o study sediment variety (after omitting the effects of rainfall on sedimentation rate) special sediment rate in 2 periods was compared. To study plant cover composition, using six factor method,The comparison was done. The results of studying on sedimentation showed a significant reduction due to vast treatments on the most important kind of erosion, channel erosion. The result showed that pland cover density had no significant changes but plant composition had changed from first class to second class ones. There fore, regarding the goals of the operations done in the project, we can consider it positive and successful.
