Nutrition management status of Dairy farms in south-west of Tehran area

The research has been done to survey the nutritional management situation in semi industrial dairy farms of sought west of Tehran province (eslamshahr) by the questioner methods. The farms based on the herd size have been categorized in to the 6 group as follow: 1(1-30), 2(31-60).3(61-100), 4(100-130), 5(130-200) and 200 heads upward. The 30 farms have been selected randomly based on the randomized category sampling methods.in this survey more than 130 dairy farms(at leist) 1500 dairy cows (ver in vestiggatad). The given ration has been compared with NRC tables and the differences have shown as percentage. The results showed that these differences for dry matter intake, crude protein and net energy lactation per cow per day in 6 groups were 42.5, 18.1, 6.6, 21.8, 10.4, 17.4 and 36.5,-4.8,-23.5,-4.9,-16.4, 3.8 and 8.4,-0.7,-7.1, 3.02,-3.02 and 1.5 percent consequently. The differences for minerals of Ca and P were42.4,19.8,22.5,8.4,29.9,13.4 and 53.1, 39.1, 38.7, 43.6, 37.4 and 39.2 respectively. The amount of cell wall with and without hemi cellulose in all categories was higher than recommended levels. The daily received amounts for minerals of K, Mn, Cu, Zn .Fe and Mg were higher than recommended levels too. The data analysis of 8 months pregnant cows has shown the differences of -29.8,-27.1,-14.6,-38.5, 11.5, 33.5.45.3 and -85.7 for DMI, CP, DCP, UDCP, NEL, Ca, P and Na respectively. This group has taken minerals of Mn, K, Fe, and Zn more than recommended levels. the results for 9 months pregnant cows for DMI, CP, DCP, UDCP, NEL, Ca, P and Na was 6.9, 26.8, 35.7, 7.3, 107.6, 80.5,70.7 and -68.7 percent consequently that shows un control consumption of energy, a and P in the given rations.
