In this article, the pathologists of the Laboratory of Pathological Anatomy of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine provides readers with an overview on sent material diversity and diagnosis that are installed on the basis of diagnostic investigations. In this issue, an insight into two dog deaths (pathologist Nikola Vernere-Keiša), an overview of the replies sent biopsies with a deeper insight about seeing tumors in dogs and cats (pathologist Ilze Matīse) and an overview of the performed forensic expertise (Dace Bērziņa) at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is given.
