Here you will find the abstracts of the PECSRL conference held in Latvia in 2010. The leading theme for the conference is: ''Landscape as home''. Landscape is where humans dwell. Since our humanoid beginnings, we have learned from the landscape and the beings inhabiting it. And from the very beginning we have transformed the landscape through our cultural activities. Here we live, work, play, dream, love, and raise children. We share it with other living beings. The earth, sea, sky, and for many, the spirit world, define this home of humans. It is a domain of rhythms, both of time and space. Way of life is established and change with the passage of time, as does the landscape. Part of the past lives on in each woman and man; and in every landscape bits of the past exists. Life in a landscape is a complex, dynamic whole, involving the past, present, and future. In this context, knowledge, practice, and imagination are among the themes addressed at the conference.
