This paper presents the growth and yield of mengkudu establishment as an intercrop under rubber. Four organic fertiliser (processed poultry manure) rates i.e. 12.5, 25, 37.5 and 50 kg/plant, with and without inorganic fertiliser were evaluated with the objective of determining optimum fertiliser rates. Results obtained showed significant effect of organic fertiliser rates and inorganic fertilisers on average fruit weight but not on yield and fruit number. The cummulative yield obtained from 9 months of harvest was 5 kg/plant and 91 fruits/plant from the lowest fertiliser rate. The average fruit weight increased significantly from 54.5 g/fruit at 12.5 kg/plant organic fertiliser to 63.6 g/fruit at 25.0 kg/plant organic fertiliser. Leaf macronutrient contents at the lowest rate of organic fertiliser application were 2.85% N, 0.21% P, 2.50% K, 0.90% Ca and 0.34% Mg. The micronutrient were 61 mg/kg Mn, 39 mg/kg Zn, 7.6 mg/kg Cu, 215 mg/kg Fe, and 3 6 mg/kg B.
