Study on the analysis of management patterns of dairy buffalo farms of Naushahro Feroze district

In all 150 dairy farms were grouped as small, medium and large with a range of animals 1-50, 51-100 and 101-above respectively. The Total number of animals on the small, medium and large dairy farms was 1300 and 5770 with corresponding average of 25 on small dairy farms, 75 and 115 respectively. According to the data collected among the major items of fixed costs was tile cost of land amounting to Rs.66000.00, Rs.172400.00 and Rs.277000.00 on small, medium and large dairy farms respectively. Similarly the average values of sheds were Rs.98200.00, Rs.286300.00 and Rs.458000.00, oil small, medium and large farms, respectively. The value of residential houses in farms was Rs.43700.00, similar in small, medium and large farms. Values of store rooms were Rs.38000.00 were also similar on small, medium and large farms. The investment in animals averaged were Rs.564000.00, Rs.1405000 and Rs.2478000.00 oil small, medium and large farms respectively.
