Kaleri, I.A.
The study has been carried out to examine the impact of different sowing patterns on the growth and productivity of Indian Squash Commercial variety "Daudero". The treatments included T1 = Raised beds at 100 cm distance with 75 cm vine spacing. T2 = Raised beds at 120 cm distance with 100 cm vine spacing. T3 = Ridges at 100 cm distance with 75 cm vine spacing. T4 = Ridges at 120 cm distance with 100 cm vine spacing T5 = Flat beds with 100 cm row and 75 cm vine spacing and T6 = Flat beds with 120 cm row and 100 cm vine spacing. NPK fertilizers were applied as per the recommendations. The results revealed that all the growth and yield contributing parameters were significantly affected by different sowing patterns. However, the number of days taken to initiate flowering and the number of days taken to achieve first harvesting fruit remained unaffected.
