Experiment was carried out at farmer field under Adaptive Research Station, Faisalabad, during kharif. The experiment was laid out in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with four replications having a net plot size 6m x 15 m. The crop was sown during May, 2006 using a seed rate of 20 kg per ha in 75cm apart rows. Experiment comprised five cultivars i.e. FH-115, FH-207, FH-901, FH-113 and MNH-786. The fertilizer was applied at the rate of 90 kg N and 58 kg P2O5 per ha as urea and diammonium phosphate, respectively. Whole of the phosphorus and one third of nitrogen was applied at sowing while one third of nitrogen with first irrigation and remaining one third with second irrigation. Results shows that significant differences in plant height at maturity (cm), number of monopodial branches per plant, number of sympodial branches per plant, number of squares per plant, number of bolls per plant, average boll weight (g), seed cotton yield (kg per ha), seed index, G.O.T %, f
