Effect of seed dressing with Biochikol 020 PC on the development and yielding of two spring wheat varieties

In field experiments the usefulness of spring wheat seeds dressed by chitozan (5 percent solution of Biochikol 020 PC) in comparison to control (without seed dressing) and standard seed dressing was defined. Investigation was conducted at Experimental Station of University of Agriculture in: Gorzyn and Swadzim in 2004. The experiments showed that emersion of plants dressed by chitozan was 3-5 percent higher than plants dressed by standard seed dressing. After dressing with Biochikol 020 PC the wheat plants growing was less and productivity growing coefficient was smaller of 6 percent. It was not found the increasing of grain yield by using Biochicol 020 PC or comparative seed dressing. In inferior conditions of soil, Zadra was better variety with smaller number of stems and ears produced, but the productivity of one ear was higher
