Applying the Rules of the quality control of raw milk, which complies with the European Union, introduced a unique system of quality control for all suppliers and dairies in the Republic of Srpska. Established and authorized laboratory that is equipped in accordance with international standards. Given the results of test, shows a significant improvement of the quality of raw milk. According to the latest results of the laboratory, about 40% of the samples was determined in the E and I class, and 32% in class III and IV. Although, the share of unclassified milk is important in the initial months, the proportion of the supplier that is not possible to determine the class of milk remained significant, indicating the need for identifying and eliminating organizational critical points in the system of quality control of milk. In the warmer part of the year comes to a decline in quality and less representation of E and I class in favor of class III and IV. Establishing a system of regular review and milk quality was contributing to the improvement of milk quality in Republic of Srpska, which makes dairy greater security and stability in the market, encouraging local production through the exercise of higher prices for good quality milk producers and consumers to ensure health and hygienic and health safety products recognizable quality.
