Significant digressions from physiological values in cows with left displaced abomasum were established in proteinemia (x=87.92 g/l) and in bilirubinemia (x=10.29 micromol/l). Hyperproteinemia indicates chemoconcentration in the diseased animals, which is also indicated in significantly higher concentrations of albumin in the diseased in comparison with the healthy animals (x=41.94-3.5 : 36.89-3.95 g/l). The higher values of glycemia in the diseased against the healthy animals (x=2.628:2.203 mmol/l) could indicate disrupted function of B-cells of the endocrine pancreas.
