On the basis of the complete series of data on discharge in period 1961-1990, observed on small river basins of Serbia, their topographic and meteorological characteristic as well, models by which mean annual waters are forecasted at any non-measured river basin were derived. Out of independent factors in the complex regressive analysis the following was used: annual precipitations and their seasonal values, annual air temperatures and their seasonal values, altitude, distance from the sea, exposition, forestry, average grade of terrain, lithologic characteristic (nine types), pedologic characteristic (six types), as well as derived index of humidity (the relation of precipitations and temperature). The aim of these actions was to apply the obtained models on the unit fields of 1 square km, which were considered to have more advantages than the projection in the whole river basin was. Choosing the River Jadar, the River Josanicka rejka and the River Lugomir (Serbia) the analysis confirmed good adaptability of accepted methods by the conditions of the runoff in them. Except mean waters, the models for the runoff forecast by seasons as well as for the warm and cold part of the year were also derived. It has been concluded that precipitations are the most important factor of the runoff regulation, what has been used for the analysis of hydrological conditions under annual precipitations, being over the average (hydrological 1970), as well as under the reduced precipitations (hydrological 1990). The obtained results are important and applicable with estimation that those originated under conditions that are more humid are more valuable.
