This thesis represents basic researches for boiler energy efficiency improvement, during the biomass combustion, derived as a product of primary agricultural production. Boiler facility includes flat, fixed grating. It has been analyzed the impact of the following parameters on the combustion process in 120kW thermal power boiler: sort and condition of baled wheat and soy straw, quantity and composition of combustion air (due to recirculation of gas combustion products). It has been used the latest and calibrated equipment of world's most recognized manufacturers and, therefore the results of the researches can be considered relevant. As the results of these researches, there have been obtained the correlation equations which define dependence of the boiler thermal power, its efficiency rate, excessive air coefficient, and gas products composition during the combustion of wheat and soy straw, depending on amount of air and recirculation rate of combustion products. Mathematical models of these parameters are given as correlation equations with a determination coefficient of 90% and p-level 0.95. Analyzing the results of the researches, initial hypotheses are successfully verified. Developed mathematical models define the way that starting parameters in combustion process of baled wheat and soy straw, affect the combustion process itself, reaching higher boiler energy efficiency and easing the automation of the facilities.
