With increasing population, rapid technological and industrial development degradation of nature is inevitable. Discharge of wastewater into natural waterways results in an increased level of nitrogen, which is reflected in human health and the eutrophication process. With constructed wetland, based on natural microbiological and physico-chemical processes, it is possible to improve the quality of surface and wastewater. Low cost, simplicity and possibility of application at the source of wastewater have led to wider application of constructed wetlands, especially for treatment of domestic wastewater.
