The Regional Subsystem Nadela (RSN) is multipurpose system and one of the most important parts of HsDTD. Nadela is not part of the regular monitoring program of systematic investigate by Republic Hydrometeorological Service of Serbia, so that during 2005, and 2006 monitoring of Nadela was done through two projects. Results was shown that quality of water is not in low regulated borders for water and sediment is highly polluted with zinc, copper, nickel and cadmium on tested sites and represent hot spot in Vojvodina. The goal of this pilot project was the choice of optimal sediment treatment techniques. Methods of solidification and stabilization are used as techniques that are used to transform waste into the forms that would be less problematic for environment. This paper presents the results of these research techniques.
