Evaluation of some insecticides for the control of the leafminer (phyllocnistis citrella) on citrus seedlings

This study was conducted at the Gezira Research Station (GRS) and Kassala Research Station (KRS) during 2004 and 2005 seasons to evaluate the efficacy of Furadan 10 G, Evisect 50% SP, Devimalt 57% EC and Mospilan 200 SL against the citrus leafminer infesting citrus seedlings. The results showed that Furadan at 1.25 g/seedling, Evisect at 0.1% product, Devimalt at 5% product and Mospilan at 0.35% product showed high prophylactic effects against the citrus leafminer on citrus seedlings
