Growth affecting factors of cyanobacterium, Hapalosiphon sp., which cultured in 180 liter plastic basins were conducted by measuring chlorophyll a content. The chlorophyll a content of cyanobacterium was determined by extraction with dimethysulfoxide (DMSO). It was shown that the growth of Hapalosiphon sp. which cultured by using the air stones of air flow system had an increasing of chlorophyll a content about 0.029 micro g/ml extract/day which was higher than that obtained by using submergesible pumps of air flow system. Hapalosiphon sp. grown in greenhouse under nature daylight condition had chlorophyll a content higher than those cultured in laboratory under 40 micro mole (photon)/square m/s of fluorescence lamps. Three growth factors optimum for culturing of Hapalosiphon sp. in greenhouse were temperature (average between 30.43-33.56 deg C), pH of culture media (average between 9.055-9.376) and light intensity (average between 202.56-1,806.06 ?mole (photon)/square m/s).
