英语. In this study, successive doses of (0.5, 1 and 2 ppb) 2,4-D herbicide application was applied to the clay, loam and sandy soil. The effects of the 2,4-D herbicide on the changes of catalase enzyme activities in the soils and kinetic parameters of this enzyme were investigated under incubation conditions. For this purpose the experiment was designed in random plots design with three replications in the laboratory of Soil Science, Agricultural Faculty, OMU. During the experiment by weighing the pots everyday, the moisture content in soils were maintained around 40% of water holding capacity.

Bu çalışmada, kil, kum ve tın bünyeli topraklara artan düzeylerde (0.5 ppb, 1 ppb ve 2 ppb) 2,4-D herbisitinin uygulanması ile farklı substrat konsantrasyonları ve zamana bağlı olarak toprakların katalaz enzim aktivitesi değişimleri ve bu enzime ait kinetik parametreler (Vmax, Km ve Vmax/Km) üzerine etkisi inkübasyon denemesi ile araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla deneme, tesadüf parselleri deneme desenine göre 3 paralelli olarak OMÜ Ziraat Fakültesi Toprak Bölümü laboratuarında kurulmuş ve yürütülmüştür.
