In course of the research there was studied the varietal reaction of new winter wheat (Triticum aestivum) variety Siuita to increased doses of nitrogen fertilizers. The research was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus in 2007-2009 on sod-podzolic light loamy soil. The agrochemical indicators of arable horizon were: humus content – 1.9%, pH – 6.0, P2O5 – 180 mg/kg, K2O – 210 mg/kg of soil. Area of an experimental plot - 25 square m. Three doses of nitrogen fertilizers were studied – 120, 160 and 200 kg/ha. Crucials (Cruciferaceae) for grain were preceding crop. As a result of realized research it was revealed that this variety belongs to the group of varieties of high-intensity type, which positively reacts to high nitrogen doses providing the highest yield (71.5 c/ha) with maximum nitrogen doses. However, economically the most optimum nitrogen dose is 160 kg/ha which provided high economic efficiency (69.3 c/ha) and profitability (72.1%). Depending on the genetic characteristics of varieties of one and the same dose of fertilizer could provided different levels of productivity.
