Анализ полиморфизма гена PRKAG3 и продуктивности откормочного молодняка свиней белорусской мясной породы различных генотипов по изучаемому гену

In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was studied genetic structure on PRKAG3 gene of different populations, age and sex groups of Belarusian meat breed and Great white breed of pigs reared in Belarus. PRKAG3Q allele associated with low meat quality was not identified. The PRKAG31 occurrence frequency in different groups of young animals at fattening did not considerably differ and made averagely 0,30. There was marked a tendency of positive effect of PRKAG31 allele and PKKAG32 genotype on the following traits of meat and fattening young animals performance: age of reaching 100 kg of weight, forage spends per 1 kg of weight gain, average daily weight gain, carcass length, weight of rear third part of carcass and 'loin' area as well as meat quality (pH level, meat juice loss at heating, moisture-retaining power, intramuscular fat and protein content).
