The main problem of agricultural sector of the national economy of the Republic of Belarus is a substantiation of a food security of the state, supplying nation economic and social stability. Labour appears one of the most important factors, providing this process. Evaluation of the labour efficiency is inalienable part of labour and employment management. New criteria, methods and indexes of labour evaluation should be substantiated. Scientific estimation of theoretical and practical approaches of labour evaluation is to be done. Because of this, complex evaluation of labour effectiveness is suggested. The essence of economical categories 'labour', 'effectiveness of labour' and 'evaluation of labour' is presented. Methodological approaches of substantiation of the criteria and indexes of labour effectiveness are analyzed. Evaluation of the working processes is made along with estimation of labour conditions and labour productivity. Utilization of labour resources is analyzed. The assessment of the stuff labour is given. The research materials can be used for evaluation of the labour and development of special measures aimed on increasing of labour effectiveness and agricultural production growth.
