In course of 3-year research there was studied the biological efficiency of a new preparation Masai, WWP (tebufenpirad, 200 g/kg) against a complex of fruit mites in apple-tree (Malus) in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. The research was realized in 2007-2009 in a trial garden of the Institute of Plant Protection of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (Minsk region) and in an industrial garden of a farm 'Antej-garden' in Myadel district of Minsk region (production tests). Study of the effectiveness of acaricide Masai against a complex of mites on apple fruit was carried out on a background of high numbers during the mass hatching of larvae of the brown fruit and apple red mites from overwintered eggs. As a result of realized research it was revealed that mites kill after single acaricide masai application has made 99.8-100% in comparison with the control variant. Masai, WWP effectively holds in phytophages development both at low and high original pest population density. It has a prolonged acaricidal action.
