In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were developed optimal technological solutions for management of replacement heifers depending on their age. In course of the study there were determined the optimal floor and feeding area norms for loose keeping of replacement heifers. The developed standards promoted creation of more comfortable conditions keeping of animals, increase of daily average weight gain at 9,1% (in comparison with the Republican standards of technological projecting RNTP-1-2004)), hemoglobin content - at 4,8%, erythrocytes quantity - at 6,3%. There was realized division of the area into a zone for rest and a zone for feeding and determination of the feeding norms. There were determined standards for straw bedding change for 6-12-month old heifers - 2 kg per one animal head daily; for 13-16-month old heifers - 3 kg; and for 17-25-month old ones - 4 kg her head daily. This made it possible to increase of average daily weight gain at 6,4% compared to RNTP-1-2004, hemoglobin content - at 3,7%, erythrocytes quantity - at 5,6%.
