In course of the research there was studied the effect of foliar fertilizing with new liquid fertilizers MicroStiem and MicroSil on sugar beet (Beta vulgaris var. saccharifera) yield and quality in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. The field experiments were realized in 2009-2011 at the agricultural production co-operative 'Gorodeya' (Nesvizh, Minsk region, Belarus) on sod-podzolic soil. Trace fertilizers MicroStiem and MicroSil represented water-soluble concentrates containing trace elements in chelate and organo-mineral form. Agrochemical characteristics of arable horizon of trial plots were the following: 2009 - pH in KCl - 6.9, P2O5 content - 347 mg/kg, K2O - 255 mg/kg of soil, humus content - 2.24%, Cu 1.3, exchangeable Mn - 0.8, Zn -2.15 mg/soil; 2010 - pH in KCl - 6.64, humus content 2.05%, P2O5 - 327 mg/kg, K2O - 302, Cu - 0.86, B - 0.61, exchangeable Mn - 0.27, Zn - 1.64 mg/kg of soil; 2011 - pH in KCl - 5.94, humus content -2.44%, P2O5 - 265 mg/kg, K2O - 327, Cu - 1.54, B - 0.69, Zn - 2.17 mg/kg of soil. Sugar beet was cultivated according to intensive technology. As a result of realized research it was revealed that the double foliar feeding of sugar beet with the studied preparation resulted in enhance of crop yield by 23-42 c/ha, sugar yield by 3.0-7.2 c/ha at profitability 80-112%.
