In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented results of two-year research of the influence of mineral nutrition conditions on sod-podzolic light loamy soil on yielding capacity and quality of grain of millet (Panicum miliaceum) of Galinka variety. It was established that the optimal dose of nitrogen fertilizers on the background of N16P60K90 was N90 which was applied by partial fertilizing (60 kg of active substance at pre-sowing cultivation, 30 kg of active substance at the phase of tillering). In this case the yielding capacity of grain amounted up to 40.1 centner/ha, content of crude protein in grain – 10.8%, and profitability – 89,3%. Application of N16P60K90 in average in course of 2 years increased grain yield by 3,3 centner/ha. In case of increasing doses of nitrogen fertilizers from 60 up to 90 kg/ha the increase to the background N16P60K90 varied from 9,8 up ro 15,4 centner/ha. On soils with content of cuprum it was efficient to realize seed treatment with chelate form of copper (NaCuHedta 0,5 H2O). Against the background of N90P60K90 the yielding capacity of grain increased on 6,6 centner/ha, yield of crude protein was 4 centner/ha, profit – 581.0 thousand Belarusian rubles/ha, and payability -105,8%.
