In the conditions of the central zone of the Republic of Belarus there was analysed the possibility of increasing the yielding capacity of fodder crops (maize (Zea mays); and pea (Pisum) and oat (Avena sativa) mixture grown for green mass) under different fertilizer systems and with application of stubble postharvest crops (for forage and green manure) and straw of winter rye (Secale cereale) and wheat (Triticum aestivum) with plowing in and without it in two links of eight-field crop rotations. In course of the study there was also analysed change of organic substance content in course of the experiment. Research results showed that application of postharvest crops used for forage in cereal crop rotation rendered positive influence on humus accumulation in soil by means of entrance of fodder and postcut deads. Manure and mineral fertilizer system had an advantage over the mineral and other systems. In this fertilizer system the yield of fodder systems per 1 ha of arable soil in grain-grass- intertilled crop rotation due to maize application was 115,1 centner; in grain-grass crop rotation due to pea-oat mixture it was 62,8 centner. Respectively it was on 10,7-21,5% and 2,4-33,6% higher than in other fertilizer systems.
