Pond pisciculture continues to be one of the most effective industries for the Republic of Belarus. Pond-grown fish appears socially important product. Therefore, reduction of the cost of fish production by means of energy-saving technologies is an important task for nation fishery. One of the most influential reserves of resource-saving technology and cost decline appears fastened market fish production. The research results in the field of estimation the effect of baby fish fodder on the growth and physiological state of the young fish are presented in the article. It is established that using such a fodder at the beginning of the season for baby fish feeding results in higher fish growth. The biochemical and hematological tests showed the higher content of fat and protein in muscle, as well as protein in blood serum that indicates the high level of physiological state and increased winter survival of the experimental young fish.
