In course of the research there was studied the effect of concentration and return period of legumes in crop rotation on their yield and development оf Fusarium root rots. The research was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus in 2004-2010 on sod-podzolic soil, developing on light loams, underlain from depth 50-70 cm by moraine loam. Agrochemical indices of arable horizon of the trial field: humus content – 2.56%, pH KCl – 6.2, P2O5 content – 240 mg/kg, K2O – 201 mg/kg of soil, general nitrogen – 0.108%. As a result of seven-year research it was revealed that the main cause of pea (Pisum) and blue lupine (Lupinus angustifolius) loss from the haulm stalk and reduction of their productivity is affection of plants by Fusarium root rots (Fusarium avenaceum) in the seedling stage. Both in pea and blue lupine crops in the period of regrowth significant increase of this kind of rots was observed with the increase of the concentration of grain legumes in the rotation from 25 to 50-100%, reduction of the return period from 3 to 1-2 years, and continuous cultivation.
