Study on chickpea lines for drought tolerance and adaptation.

In this 125 genotyps from ICARDA along with one local check were evaluated against drought tolerance and adaptation in rainfed condition at SRAROOD research station. Each genotyps was in one row of one meter long plot, according to a observation design . However out of these genotyps 41 were found to be resistant to drought and were selected for permliminary yield trial in next year.
