Pod borer is the most important chickpea pest which cause a lot of damage annually. Chloridea viriplaca is the dominant species of this pest in Kermanshah . Objective of present study was to evaluate reaction of 25 genotypes ( is genotypes from ICR1SAT and 10 advance lines from Iran ) to podborer pest. . These experiment was conducted in randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications during 2004-2005 in Sararood station, Kermanshah , Iran. Each plot consist of 3 rows with 4 m length.Infestation precent of genotypes to podborer was calculated and resistance and susceptible genotypes scored on the basis I to 9. Evaluation was done under natural infestation condition. The density of larvae was determained on 10 plants. Results showed that the max and min density were 4 larvae on ICCV 95992 and 1 on ICCL 86102 jICC 12494 .respectively . The mean of density oflarvae was 2.5 on 10 plants. The mean infestation of percentage on pods were 12.3 and the max and min infestation of percentage on pods were 25.4 percentage on B'JVANIJ and 6.4 on S 96032 .respectively . Finally. 11 genotypes were evaluated as moderate resistant, 12 genotypes susceptible and 2 genotypes highly resistant
