Study on resistance of in international lines of barley to coverd scald and powdrey mildew diseases in dryland condition

In this investigation 55 lines and cultivars of Durum barley were grown in station diseases nursery in 1999-2000 for evaluation to diseases. Each tested material was planted in a 2-one meter rows. Susceptible check was sown every 5 Test varieties. evaluation was done under natural condition. The results indicated that 46 genotypes were highly resistance to scald,4lgenotypes were highly resistant to powdrey mildew diseases and the rest were tolerant susceptible.
