In order to determine the best suitable application rate of seed and nitrogen, a factorial design based on complete randomized block design with ٤ replications was conducted in Islamabad research station. The treatments were seed rate (Factor A) with ٤ levels including ٤, ٦, ٨, and ١٠ kilogram per hectare and nitrogen application (Factor B) with ٥ levels including ٠,٥ NR,٠ .٧٥ NR, ١NR,١,٢٥ NR and ١,٥ NR,(NR= recommended application based on soil test). Important traits including initiation of flowering, end of flowering, flowering duration, plant height, number of secondary branch, pods per plant, ١٠٠٠ seed weight, seeds per pod and seed yield were recorded. The result showed that Seed rate ١٠ kilogram per hectare had the highest seed yield with ٥٣٩١ and the seed rate ٤ kilogram per hectare had the lowest seed yield with ٤٠٤١ kilogram per hectare. The highest (١,٥ NR) and the lowest nitrogen application rate produced the highest and the lowest seed yield with ٥٣٩٢ and ٤٢٥٧ kilogram per hectare, respectively.
