Extract: The in vitro interaction of selected drugs with coffee, tea, and gallotannic acid was examined by mixing solutions of drugs with each of these substances. These experiments resulted in the precipitation of a number of drugs including H-1 and H-2 receptor antagonists, propranolol, and hydralazine. The strongest interactions were observed with the H-1 antagonists. (Author).
