Effect of temperature and soil moisture on degradation of alachlor, pendimethalin and prometryn.
1992
Vouzounis N.A. | Americanos P.G.
Degradation rate of alachlor, pendimethalin and prometryn increased with temperature from 10 to 30 deg C in soils with 15% water content (close to field capacity). When soil moisture was reduced to 2% the rate of degradation was retarded even though temperature was maintained at 30 deg C. Alachlor degraded more rapidly than either pendimethalin or prometryn under all temperatures.
