Cockles, the economic shell is well known for consumers due to its cheap price and high nutrients. The production each year lie between 10,000-20,000 metric tons. However, the demand of cockles exceed the supply, this makes the country import to subsidize the shortaged supply. The imported countries include Malaysia, Singapore, U.S.A. and etc. From the study, the factors which determined cockles supply were domestic demand, export quantities and Bangkok wholesale price. The significant factors in term of statistics were domestic demand and Bangkok wholesale price. In order to supply the cockles to fulfill demand, the Thai Royal Government should promote the cockle culture by enlarging the potential area. At the same time, the government should expand the export promotion by giving the standard quality for export products. The certificate guarantee should be given to those which passed investigation quality. The foreign buyer will receive the high quality product. That means the expansion of markets. For the domestic support the government should help them by setting up the cooperatives. This will help in increasing their bargaining power in terms of buying what they need and sell the output. At last they will receive the parity price.
