Combining ability of seven apple varieties widely used in breeding work in Belarus has been studied about the precocity character. Genetic analysis has been carried out by the method of incomplete diallel crosses. Wealthy, Belorusskoe Malinovoe, Minskoe and Spartan cultivars produce the most precocious progeny. Hybrids of high heterosis may be splitted by the precocity character to the families Lobo x Antonovka and Lobo x Wealthy.
