5 strains with effective nitrogen fixation selected from massive fast-growing soybean rhizobia were respectively inoculated to soybean varieties Yuejin 5, Shanning 2 and Ludou 4 grown in Sand Culture and in the field. The results showed that when compared to slow-growing strains, competition and nodulation abilities of fast-growing strains were higher, dry weight and protein content of soybean plants being symbiotic with fast-growing strain 15067 were higher, and that with other fast-growing strains were close. When compared to check yield of soybean inoculated with fast-growing strains increased by 18.2-31.4% yield of soybean inoculated with slow-growing strains increased by 7.9-12.8%.
