The following has been concluded on the basis of the performed study: Lozovacea (grape vine) brandy is an important strong alcoholic beverage in Yugoslavia, although it has not been studied very much. It is mostly characterized by its primary aroma which comes from the grapes. Since the variety bears the character and intensity of the aroma, it is important for the properties of this brandy. By applying a suitable technological process, a great part of the primary aroma can be transferred to the brandy with little change. This brandy can be produced in a short period of time. All of the new grape vine varieties studied produce brandy with an intense bouquet of the variety and a harmonious, sensual and impressive flavour.
