The results of three year study of the structural and mechanical yield composition of twelve black currant varieties are reported. The varieties characterized by very large berries (more than 1.0 g), large (0.81-1.0 g) and middle (0.6-0.8 g), with the best indices of the cluster mass and length, berries mass, the number of berries per cluster, the skin, pulp and seed composition are revealed. The yield pattern of released and promising varieties is established. The results show that cultivars Naslednitsa, Neznakomka, Pamyati Vavilova, Partizanka, Tserera and Kupalinka may be recommended for freezing in bulk, in syrup, and also for preparing the pureelike products and compotes; cultivars Zagadka and Katyusha - for freezing in bulk, in syrup and for compotes; cultivars Odzhebin and Klussonovskaya - for pureelike products; cultivars Katyusha, Belorusskaya Sladkaya - for fresh storage.
