In the present work, the techniques of stem analysis and soil survey are integrated to know influence of soil characteristics on the forest in order to estimate its productivity. The productivity was classified into rich, medium and poor site qualities. The site indexes were obtained by choosing not correlated edafic variables to avoid multicolienality and were related with top hight and tree age after the site quality model was obtained. These models were determinated for general growing conditions and for the aspects in which the species under sutdy grows within its natural range.
