With production maximization in mind, the study aims to determine chevon production potential of Paragrass growing under mango trees. Female native goats of relatively the same age, weight, height, and blood composition were allowed to graze under mango trees at different stocking rates: 25, 35, 45 animal units per hectare. Daily weight gain and gain per unit area increased with stocking rate. Herbage consumption also increased as the number of animals is increased per unit area. Fresh herbage yield decreased for all treatments as the summer period approaches.
