The tests have concentrated on defining the interdependence between harvested seeds quality (percentage of undamaged and damaged seeds), and the number of drum rotations, seeds resistance to mechanical action and the humidity of CORSOY sort and the sorts from Novi Sad and Osijek (Yugoslavia). The tests have proved that as the number of drum rotations rises (from 550 to 750 min-1), the percentage of undamaged seeds falls, i.e. the percentage of damaged and destroyed seeds rises. The less humidity in the seeds, the lower percentage of undamaged seeds. Sorts which were found to be the most resistable to mechanical damages caused by threshing device are NS-10, and the most resistable sort - CONSOY.
