Some problems with nutritional analysis software.

Nutrient data and nutrient analysis software can be misused and misconstrued to the detriment of the consumer. "Pseudo-nutritionists" may distort the data, or professionals can also fail to provide sufficient information by not stating the variations inherent in any nutrient analysis. Interpretation of nutrient analysis based on the RDA'S can be misconstrued when the appropriate use of the RDA is not explained. Nutritional software programs can be a useful educational tool but they must be carefully interpreted based on the limitation inherent in the core data. (kbc).
