In the years 1982-88 pathogenicity of 14 Fusarium species towards cereal seedlings was investigated. The 114 isolates studied have been obtained in 1980-85 from various part of infected cereal plants. The pathogenicity was studied in infection experiments carried out in greenhouse (uncontroled conditions). After experimental period of 3 weeks results were evaluated by means of measuring number, height or fresh weight of seedlings. The usefulness of those three kinds of means have also been compared. Among cereal species of rye and triticale were affected to greatest extent, wheat and barley somewhat proved most useful, by means of height of plants less, and oats stayed almost unaffected. Estimation of results by means of height of plants less, and rye means of weight the least useful.
