Minerals content control is narrowly connected with the soil geochemical properties of the region of animal maintenance. Supplementary quantities of phosphorus, copper and zinc, given to animals in simplified premixes, contributed to the increased supply of these elements for cows and calves, resulting in recession of clinical symptoms of mineral deficiency.
