The study was carried out in 6 broiler buildings in Polish large-scale farming environment. Air exchange in the evaluated broiler buildings was inadequate, particularly during the summer time. The concentration of CO2 and NH4 in the air at the end of fattening period and content of bacteria and fungi spores in the air of the third week of fattening period was too high.
