The forest association with Celtis mildbraedii and Gambeya lacourtiana is described in the Kikwit region. A phytosociological table is presented, analysed and interpreted using various floristico-ecological spectra (systematic, biological, diaspores types, phytochorological as well as ecological groups). The various analyses reveal the importance of some groups: Ulmaceae, Sterculiaceae, Marantaceae, Caesalpiniaceae, mesophanerophytes, sarcochores and Congolian basin species. From a dynamic point of view, this forest is a climax association in the Kikwit area.
